The **Viper Fearless** is a practical fixed knife, designed by Tommaso Rumici. He often works with Viper. Despite his previous collaborations this is the first design he introduced. The Fearless is made to function as a practical knife for first responders. A combination between a tactical dagger knife and a survival knife. A real all-rounder you can rely on.
The pointed spearpoint blade is made from Sleipner steel. This Austrian type of tool steel retains its sharpness well. Do, however, pay attention to the following: Sleipner steel is not completely stainless. So make sure you properly dry the knife after use. The blade is no less than 6 mm thick. In combination with the spearpoint style blade this leaves you with an incredibly robust blade. The chance of this blade breaking is very small. Due to the hollow grind this knife is still perfect for various survival tasks.
This version of the Viper Fearless is enhanced with micarta scales. These, in combination with the ridges and royal finger grooves, provide you with a lot of grip. The bottom finger groove is perfect for your index finger and the top for your thumb. The guards ensure that your hand won’t slip from the handle during use. The top guard is flat in the front. As such the handle doesn’t slip when you stick the knife into something. The way the scales fit inside the full-tang handle is unique. They are sunk into the steel. As such the handle, despite the 6 mm thick steel, stays relatively thin. Cut-outs in the handle reduce the weight. The end of the handle is enhanced with a pointed tip that functions as glass breaker. It also enables you to attach a lanyard to the knife.
Important for a knife for first responders is the sheath. This holster is made by Vega Holsters. Experts when it comes to military equipment. The sheath is made from kydex and enhanced with a solid belt clip. The clip can be attached to the sheath in many different ways. As such you can personalize the knife to your liking.
