The **Fenix CL20R camping light** is the rechargeable edition of the Fenix CL20. This light has been popular for years for outdoor and camping use and, for this reason, has been given a rechargeable version. Enhanced with a 1600mAh Li-polymer battery and more lumens than before but only in a smaller, more compact light. The original CL20 was already lovingly called the *Little Snail*, and this version definitely deserves this title as well! An incredibly powerful and compact camping light. Available in two colours, amongst which this orange one.
## Fenix CL20R: six light modes for any situation
The CL20R has been enhanced with at least 18 LED lights, of which 16 neutral white and 2 red lights. The white lights give you four different light modes. Each carefully selected to make sure you will have the right amount of light regardless of the situation. From reading a book in your tent to working in and around the house:
* Low, 1 lumen, 200 hours
* Medium, 40 lumens, 20 hours
* High, 130 lumens, 12 hours
* Turbo, 300 lumens, 6 hours
The red LED lights give you two additional modes: a flashing red light and a fixed red light. Not too bright, but enough to stand out during emergency situations or keep mosquitoes at bay.
## Rechargeable, compact and versatile
The main difference in comparison to the ‘regular’ CL20 is the battery. You never have to deal with individual batteries because you can use the built-in 1600mAh Li-polymer battery you can easily charge it with the included micro-USB cable. The battery indicator, built into the on/off button will show you the status of the battery.
A second advantage of the built-in battery is that the CL20R is even more compact than the non-rechargeable version. It is almost a centimetre smaller than the original *Little Snail*. So it is basically a type of *Baby Snail*.
The basis of the Fenix CL20R is strong, the possibilities endless. This is mostly due to the base with the magnetic sheets and the collapsible mounting ring. As such you can put it down, but also hang it from a branch or stick it onto the most impossible of places by using the magnet. After all, the lamp has a IP-66 rating which means it can handle dust and water.
