The **Nitecore NU10 CRI** is a lightweight, rechargeable head torch. Ideal for various purposes, from odd jobs around the house, to running and hiking. The torch has 3 white light modes: 115 lumens, 22 lumens and 1 lumen. As well as white light, the NU10 CRI also has the option of a 13 lumen red light. This red light is great if you want to read a map in the dark, because it doesn’t affect your night vision. This CRI version has a high CRI LED, which is an LED that provides realistic colour rendering. No blue or orange light, just neutral. Useful for photography, among other things.
The Nitecore NU10 CRI gets its power from the built-in 900mAh Li-ion battery. This battery can be recharged with the included micro-USB cable. With this cable, any free USB port can be used as a charging station. There is a battery indicator in one of the pressure switches on top of the head torch. It is a small LED that shows you the current battery voltage. It also displays the charging status during charging. A unique feature of the NU10 is that you can even use it while it’s charging.
The casing is fully dustproof and waterproof and adheres to the IP66 standard. This doesn’t mean you can use it underwater, though! However, the light will function perfectly when faced with rain, snow or sweat.
With a maximum burn time of 7 hours on the highest mode, the Nitecore NU10 CRI has a lot of endurance. Especially when you consider its light weight of only 70 grams including head band.
