The **Gerber LMF II Infantry** is a robust and solid fixed knife, designed for soldiers. Veteran Jeff Freeman designed this knife as a decent tool you can rely on!
The blade is made from 420HC steel. Stainless and easy to sharpen in the field. The edge is partially serrated, partially smooth. You use the serrations to cut through high-fibre materials. The smooth edge can be used to cut anything else. The handle is made from glass reinforced nylon, with a rubber *overmould*. This means that the handle has been enhanced with a beautiful rubber layer with a grip pattern. As such you will have a lot of grip. In addition, the rubber layer takes care of the insulation: when you accidentally hit a live wire you won’t feel a thing!
The holes in the handle make it possible for you to attach the knife to a stick. As such you can build your own spear. The back of the handle has been enhanced with a sharp point that can be used as a glass breaker or hammer. The Gerber LMF II is definitely more than just a knife, it is an all-round tool.
The Gerber LMF II comes with a luxury sheath. Perfect for MOLLE-vests and bags, but also for your belt. An additional leg strap is included to prevent the sheath from getting in the way. The plastic sheath has also been enhanced with a sharpener which you can use to sharpen your knife in the field!
