The **WOOX Rock 62 Micarta Plain** is a stylish and solid fixed knife designed in the United States and manufactured in Maniago, Italy. The modern design adds to the knife’s distinctive look. And thanks to the slight curve and the practical finger groove in the handle, the knife also feels very comfortable in hand. You have plenty of grip and good control over the large blade.
Compared to other large outdoor knives, the Rock 62 is far from heavy. The knife only weighs 240 grams! The blade is 5 mm thick and runs throughout the entire handle. This is called a full-tang construction. This type of construction makes a knife very suitable for heavier outdoor tasks. Sturdy, stylish and practical but not too heavy? Perfect for camping or bushcrafting!
## WOOX Rock 62 blade
The blade is made from Sleipner steel. This is a strong type of tool steel. It’s obvious that this is a very good type of steel. The name ‘Rock 62’ refers to the Rockwell hardness of this knife. 62 HRC. In terms of qualities it looks a lot like an improved version of D2 steel. The structure of the steel is much finer at the molecular level, making it even stronger and resulting in a better sharpness retention. The blade is enhanced with a practical stonewashed finish. As such, traces of use are hardly invisible.
## WOOX Rock 62 micarta handle
WOOX chose micarta for the handle. The handle is made from canvas micarta. A strong and light-weight material, made from linen and synthetic resin. A strong material that offers you a lot of grip. Even in wet conditions.
The handle scales are removable. Nice if you want a change of handle material and practical if you want to clean your knife. The knife comes with a set of torx keys.
Please note: this knife does not come with a sheath or case. The [Woox Rock 62 Sheath] can be found in the combideals, provided it is in stock.
