The **Case Canoe** is a traditional pocket knife. Stylish and incredibly practical. The name comes from the design of the canoe. When you look at the side you namely see the resemblance of a canoe. In this case the pocket knife has two similarly shaped blades, they only differ in size. The large blade is namely 6.5 cm long and the small blade 5.0 cm. The protrusions on both sides that make it look like a canoe also have a function. These protrusions ensure that the slightly sharp back of the blade doesn’t get caught behind your pocket. Well thought-out!
## Case Tru-Sharp SS steel
The blade is made from Case Tru-Sharp SS. This is a stainless type of steel that is similar to 420HC steel. Characteristic of this type of steel is that it can be sharpened super sharp very quickly.
## Blue G10 Smooth
The handle is made from smooth, blue G10. As Case puts it: *Blue G10, Smooth.* To make the blue G10 look even better the blades and bolsters are enhanced with a satin finish, instead of a polished finish. As such this collection looks a little ‘rougher’ than most Case knives.
## Case Knives: traditional pocket knives
Case has been producing pocket knives ever since 1889. Each pocket knife is assembled and finished by hand, relatively unique for an American brand. As a result each Case knife is unique. Case knives are incredibly collectible and a great addition to your standard EDC pocket knife. Nice as a gift, for someone else as well as for yourself.
